An Apprenticeship is a real job with training which would allow you to earn while you learn, whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
While you complete an Apprenticeship you will be getting paid and receiving training in the skills employers want. An Apprenticeship will give you excellent progression opportunities, whether looking to study further or climb the ranks within your workplace.
The training provided by Avant Skills Academy is a mix of on and off-the-job training, at your place of work and at one of Avant's training centres and may be undertaken on a day release basis.
Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the type of Apprenticeship chosen, the Apprentices ability and the industry sector. If you are not already employed and paid a wage, the National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice is currently £4.15 per hour. However, many Apprentices can earn significantly more. If you are already employed, prior to commencing your Apprenticeship, your wage will not be affected.
Completing an Apprenticeship can increase your future earning potential. Apprentices enjoy marked salary increases when they complete their training, and those completing a higher Apprenticeship could see increased earnings of an estimated £150,000 over their lifetime.*
