Learner & Employer Engagement Co-ordinator

£21,166 to £26,999 plus Bonus PA (dependant on qualifications and experience)

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Learner & Employer Engagement Co-ordinator for our Grimsby training centre.

You will be responsible for leading the engagement and recruitment of employers and learners to Traineeship programmes and to enable learners to complete and progress into positive destinations.

You will be an organised and motivated individual with ideally experience in a sales enviroment. You will be responsible for leading the engagement and recruitment of employers and learners to Traineeship programmes and to enable learners to complete and progress into positive destinations. Knowledge of Traineeships would be beneficial, though not essential as full training will be provided.

Driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential.

Key Objectives:

  • Recruitment of target number of learners to learning programmes to ensure contract and funding opportunities are maximised;
  • Engagement with employers to ensure sufficient work experience placements are generated for Traineeships and learners are correctly placed, within required timeframes;
  • Achievement of targets in relation to learner starts on programme, attendance, retention and progression across all directly delivered learning programmes;

 

Person Profile:

Qualifications

Level 4 Information Advice and Guidance qualification, or willing to work towards;

GCSE English Grade C, GCSE Maths Grade C or equivalent qualifications.  

 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Recruitment or sales background
  • Experience of effective engagement with employers and learners;
  • Experience of successfully achieving targets, together with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, take responsibility, use initiative and be proactive, incorporating flexibility when required;
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, to produce internal and external reports;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Excellent presentation skills, including use of PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of information technology, including Microsoft Office;
