If you are interested in supporting young people into work or looking for a future member of staff, offering work experience as part of the Traineeship programme could be for you.

What is a Traineeship?

Traineeships are a government initiative to help develop relevant skills amongst young people. The programme is targeted at 16-23 year olds with the aim of preparing them for the workplace. It is ideal preparation for an apprenticeship programme.

How can they benefit your business?

With traineeships your business can:

  • Get to know a potential new employee, without committing to a full employment contract or Apprenticeship
  • Offer work placements that will last nat least a 100 hours in total
  • Help shape the skills set of the next generation of employees for your sector
  • Engage with the local community as part of a high quality work experience programme

As an Ofsted rated “good” training provider, we deliver a Traineeship programme that will meet your needs and support young people who wish to progress onto an Apprenticeship upon completion.
