Avant Skills Academy is registered under the Data Protection Act and committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains our data processing practices and the ways in which your personal data is used. Use of information

We will use your information to provide and personalise our service. We may collect the following information:

•     All personal and contact details including: Name, Address, Date of Birth, National Insurance Number, Email Address and Emergency contact details
•     Education, training and employment history
•     Information submitted within surveys

We store this securely in both hard copy and electronic copy. Your data will be disclosed to authorised third parties, such as the Education and Skills Funding Agency on behalf of the Department for Education, Pellcomp Software, OneFile, Pearson, VTCT and BKSB. This data may be used to compile reports and statistics that comply with contractual requirements and for general administration purposes.

Your data will only be shared with the above parties if you are participating in, or directly engaged with our learning programmes (for example as a learner undertaking Apprenticeship training, or an employer of an Apprentice). Your specific consent will be obtained prior to sharing your data with these parties.

We ensure that the provisions and obligations imposed by the relevant data protection legislation and the data protection principles, together with any subsequent re-enactment or amendment thereof in storing and processing personal data are complied with at all times. Your information will be securely destroyed after it is no longer required.

We may use your information to send you news about Avant Skills Academy and products or services, which we think may be of interest to you when we have your permission to do so in the method you have granted. If you have previously agreed for us to use your personal information for marketing purposes, you may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@avant.ac.uk.

We will never pass your personal data to anyone else, except for any successors in title to our business and suppliers that process data on our behalf unless we are required to do so by law.
