Avant Skills Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Programme Tutor Assessor to deliver engaging, high-quality training and support to learners across our growing portfolio of Data, Administration and digital programmes.
As our AI and Data Technician curriculum continues to develop, the role will also support the delivery of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Practitioner apprenticeship, which focuses on helping organisations identify, design and implement practical improvements to the way work gets done through AI and automation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone already working in education, or an experienced industry professional looking to move into training and share their knowledge with the next generation. If you are not a qualified teacher/tutor, don’t worry, we will put you through your teaching qualification!

 What you’ll do:
- Deliver engaging teaching and training across Data, AI and Automation programmes.
- Support learners to understand how data, AI and automation can be used to improve workplace processes and productivity.
- Develop learners’ knowledge of digital workflows, automation tools and emerging AI technologies.
- Help learners identify business problems and explore practical technology-based solutions.
- Assess, mentor and support learners throughout their apprenticeship.
- Provide meaningful, personalised feedback to support progress and achievement.
- Work with employers to ensure learning reflects genuine workplace needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, assessment, quality and compliance.
- Keep your own knowledge current in a rapidly developing area of technology.
What we’re looking for:
We’re particularly interested in people with professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Data analysis, management or visualisation
- Artificial Intelligence and generative AI
- Business process automation
- Digital workflows and systems
- Process improvement and digital transformation
- Administration and business systems
- Using technology to improve efficiency, productivity or decision-making
You don’t necessarily need to be an expert in every area.
More important is a strong understanding of how technology, data and digital tools can be applied within real organisations, together with the ability to communicate that knowledge and inspire others.
